COVID-19: Travel Restrictions Austria

Restricted Passengers
Third-country nationals arriving from out of Schengen area are not allowed to enter Austria. (visa free nationals and visitors with C visa)

Exempted Passengers

1- Citizens and their family members who are
living in the same household
OR (habitual) residents of one of below countries
AND arriving from one of these countries
AND have only been to these countries or in Austria within the last 14 days
Are free to enter Austria (no molecular-biological SARS-CoV-2-test, no quarantine):
Andorra, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican.
2- Diplomatic missions members / staff of international organizations as well as family members
3- Humanitarian workers, nursing and health personnel
4- Seasonal workers in the agricultural and forestry sector as well as tourism.
5- Cargo-transport worker
6- Foreigners having a Visa D published by Austria

PCR test
Not a must before travelling. Passengers can do the following:
Make the PCR test before departure not older than 4 days along with attached medical certificate
OR, Make the PCR test upon arrival at Vienna airport,
OR, 14 days home quarantine.

Health insurance
Not Required. health insurance and medical promise

Form
Yes, (Entry and Transit Declaration Form) should be filled and ready before arriving to the passport control in Vienna.
